Ahlul Bayt (AS) International News Agency - ABNA: ABNA correspondent Ali reported from Najaf, standing in front of Wadi Al-Salam cemetery, and explained that for those who do not know, this is the oldest and biggest cemetery in the world.
He noted that the cemetery spans more than six square kilometers in area and more than six million people are buried here, acknowledging that the number might sound unbelievable but confirming that it is true.
Ali pointed out that many prophets are also buried here, including Prophet Hud and Prophet Saleh, whose tombs were visible right behind him, along with many more prophets resting in this sacred ground.
He described this as one of the most sacred places for all Muslims and of course Shias around the world.
Ali stood overlooking the entire cemetery, noting how vast it was, and pointed out that if viewers could zoom in, they would see a bunch of tombs in the distance behind him, all part of the whole cemetery.
He mentioned that the cemetery is also about 100 meters away from the holy shrine of Imam Ali, and the team thought it would be good to report from this site as well.
Ali concluded by hoping that viewers get the chance to come here too.
